I'm looking to trade for a set of (4) of the 1/25 AMT 1970 Ford Galaxie 4-door dog-dish wheels and hubcaps. These can be found in the James Bond/007 Police car kit or in the Yellow Cab Taxi kit. I'm not interested in a complete kit, just these wheels and hubcaps. I am in Illinois... thanks!

Round 2 Announcements as of 9/12/25 from Stevens Intl.

There are many old stories of "lost and forgotten" tooling in the AMT facilities of the past... "We think that tooling might be in the large warehouse's back, NW corner on the top rack, but you'd hafta look!" I remember in the 1990's when it was announced they had found the tooling for the 1/25 ex-MPC 1971 Mercury Cyclone (in factory stock/not Nascar), and were cleaning it up for a reissue... my excitement level went thru the roof! (a Holy Grail kit for me). When they poured-in the styrene, out popped the 1/25 AMT 1970/72 Hemi-Hunter Dodge Dart with its 426 Hemi engine in the trunk... the mold was mis-labeled in the warehouse! I filled a few beers with my tears upon hearing that! -
I am looking for some 1/25 Weber Side-draft Carbs for a 4-cylinder engine "hop-up" project I have in the works... anyone have a pair in their parts box that they'd be willing to trade to me? I am in Illinois... thanks!

Great looking build! Are the wheels on your build straight from the kit or did you source those wheels elsewhere? They look excellent!

Great looking build! Got any engine or chassis pics... would love to see 'em!

My license plate making source only has a 1985-version of a British Columbia plate... a test version shown here. If that'll work for you, let me know what custom text/lettering you want on the plate and I'll see about getting one or more if needed to you.

For British Columbia?... just wanted to confirm.

Any updates on the Moebius 72 Maverick?

I have an article in an old issue of "Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords" magazine somewhere in my library with a 1:1 '70 Boss 302 Maverick built to replicate what a factory offering would have looked like... that article inspired me to get a JoHan Mav and the Boss 302 from the AMT/Errl '69 Mercury Cougar Eliminator kit to build my own 1/25 version. I'll dig a bit deeper in my library to see if I can find the article and post some pics from it. -

1960 Mercury Park Lane two door hardtop

Really nice save and rebuild! Proudly displays all the glamour of early/mid-1960's American cars... glamour being a word that describes almost no autos in this day and age! I'm curious what paint color that Green is; to my eyes it goes really well with the Black. -
Rob, With that little collection ya' got there, we're gonna send your name and address to the product development team at Round-2... looks like you have a dozen or so "subjects that need to be cloned" and they could tap into your inventory for kits to clone from... that won't be a problem for ya', will it? LOL

Beautiful build of a piece of drag racing history! Did that roof piece come in the kit or did you source it elsewhere?

Stunning... simply stunning!

Despite the issues it gave you, the finished build looks great! I have this same kit with all major sub-assemblies finished and ready to all get put together with a body that's painted quite well for me. Dry-fit everything and I can see that I'll have the same type of issues you dealt with regarding the frame not wanting to mate completely with the body. So I decided to postpone the frustration-game and back into the box it went! Your build might inspire me to pull it outta the box and get it finished. Hopefully mine will turn out as well as your's did!
