What colors do you like. Solids, Metallic, Candy, Pearls, or Metal Flake. Depending on what your doing, a Pearl white roof would look good with a darker color body, most colors would be darker wouldn't they. Maybe a darker color Pearl body. espo Posted December 14, 2014 Share Posted December 14, 2014 (edited) Tim, I like the way your build is going. If you still haven't decided on a color yet you might look at something bold and bright. Testors one coat lacquers has a lot of colors to consider. I just finished a model with their Fiery Orange, think of the OEM Sierra Gold on steroids. They have lots of yellows ,reds, golds, and silvers. Or a candy color like red or green. Tamiya has some pearls like their green. Just ideas. MAD makes really great products and I'm extremely happy with the quality. '57 Chevy plug wires are kind of tricky since they run behind the exhaust manifold and up. The hardest part was figuring out which way they were supposed to be routed. If they came with headers, that would have been cake. Lol. Thanks! I'll get some painted layed down this weekend on the roof at least. That titanium silver from Tamiya is very nice.
