Dr. Cranky
Sure, it's Monday and how much eye-candy drool are you ready for? For a complete brain explosion, go here: http://public.fotki.com/ChuckDoan/
coopdad
Chuck, I watched the WIP of this one over on The Model Builders forum. Too unbelievable for words! If you don't get many responses it is because everyone is too stunned to type! John

Brett Barrow
His Fordson Tractor dio is even more amazing. I'd say Mr. Doan is the best all-around modeler in the world, right now, hands down, no doubt about it. Or at least the most realistic. He's my favorite, anyway! And Mr. Suarez is no slouch, either! Guest Gramps-xrds
Virg, I gotta agree with ya here. Chuck is a master. The realism he accomplishes is far above anything I could hope to do and you my friend ain't to shabby either.
charlie8575
! Wow, I only looked at two albums and was floored. I can only dream... Charlie Larkin
Dr. Cranky
The thing about Mr. Doan, as is the case with so many other builders, is that he is generous with his techniques and experiments. So by watching we get to learn a great deal about the process.
Dragline
This is undoubtably the finest modeling I have ever seen and I have seen my share. This stuff is beyond reproach and it is clear there was a master at work. All the details are just right and the wear and tear make me blind. I just spent the better part of 2 hours looking at the Doan shop and all the rest and I repeatedly had to go back to reference other shots. Not a thing out of place. STUNNING IN EVERY WAY. We all have much to learn looking at this Masterwork. I've never seen its like in all my life. Bob

Plasticfanatic
This is a spectacular, wonderful, superb, incredible and magnificent diorama(s), the detail and weathering is so lifelike that you can pass this as the real deal in 1/1 scale! The other work posted at this Master modeler fotki page is an overload of inspiration of the art of the diorama at the highest level, thanks for sharing these beautiful works of art.
