USA-1 RACER!

Here is the front decal after it has been cut to fit the area and applied in 3 pieces. The Big Bow Tie is a separate decal.

Wow this build is nuts, (in a good way) so much imaginative work and incredible fabrication. Definitely got my eyes glued to this now, can't believe I've missed it so far. The paint on the racer looks great, I could totally see that thing on the salt flats. Can't wait to see more!

Thanks for the kind words Jonathan!

That is sweet ira.

It came out awesome.

It would be cool if the transporter faded to metalic blue instead of red. That would give the red/white-silver/blue look. Maybe some stars air brushed in.

Just a thought. Hope you dont mind.

Thanks for the suggestion Gary, you must be a Mind Reader!

The Transport Body was Painted Silver Diamond Dust with Star-Spangled Blue Faded up from the Underside.

Wonderful work, Ira. Where did you find that circle/ellipsis template?

Thank You Dr.!

I bought the Templates at an Art Supply Store years several ago. You can find them on Ebay, there are many different sizes & shapes... B)

DETAILING THE INTERIOR!

I assembled the interior of the Transporter so I could solve some "Fitting Problems with the body before painting it. I had to modify the front section of the frame, it was an easy fix!

Then I sprayed the Corvette Indy Interior with Tamiya Mica Red. I applied Testors Dullcoat over the Mica Red.

I added Chrome Bare Metal Foil to the sides of the interior.

Then I applied The Detailer over the Foil...
