W-409
Glad you like them, Tony! And great pictures from Nate, that first Hot Rod and '61 Chevy look very good, but I'm not sure about the last one. Those, Rodney posted are quite.... Well, interesting. Jon Cole
From somewhere on Facebook. "So I'm just driving along in my van, when I see in the rear view mirrors a speedboat approaching at high speed! I was so startled, I slammed on the brakes! And that, officer, is how the boat got into my van."

57peppershaker
This '59 Chevy Viking is absolutely one of my favorites! Cool truck. Looks like it should be in Mad Max !
Nate
We all don't build shinie hotrods or RatRods Some just build others That bare metal 34 Ford Pickup isn't a rat rod. It's Jimmy Shine's (of So-Cal Speed Shop Fame). It was featured in The Rodder's Journal as an in progress feature. He finished it, but left the body bare steel. W-409
Cool truck. Looks like it should be in Mad Max ! That Truck is cool! You should hear it with those mega exhaust pipes, I believe, there are no mufflers, because it's pretty loud... I have one video of it too- I can post it some day, so you can hear something about it too.
Joe Handley
Just ran across an article on this yesterday, I'm kinda digging the look on this car! Kinda want to try it with one of Revell's '63 Stingray snappers now! Edited December 29, 2011 by Joe Handley
crazyjim
Chrome plated? Polished aluminum or stainless? I don't like the black wheels.
Joe Handley
It's either a paint that comes out like chrome (like Alclad) or a foil wrap (like BMF) Jim, and I gotta agree with the wheels, those should be chromed too!
crazyjim
I suppose it could the wrap that people use these days instead of painting your business on a truck/car.
Joe Handley
I think it's based off that principle, they even a glow in the dark wrap! Edited December 30, 2011 by Joe Handley
Darren B
Well, I would NOT call these "reference" photos.,,, that would be a complete photo study of a vehicle. Exterior, interior, engine bay, chassis, trunk, and detail shots. Photos to help us detail a model. I don't call one photo of a particular vehicle much of a reference. At least that's my opinion on it Exactly reference pics your looking for every nut, bolt, wire, down to the very last bit of dirt on the vehicle this is to get your juices going and come up with inspiration for a whole new totally wild build. Just saying. Edited December 30, 2011 by Darren B
