Also , I've included a shot of W W II gasoline ration stamps . the globe lens was from Amoco's leaded regular grade of gasoline , similar to the Red Crown in the Mid west. The salt and pepper shakers will show everyone what premiums were offered with a 1940's fill up. They also verify the colors for gasoline pumps of the era too. There are two shots of the station in silver base . This helps to enhance the white paint I will shoot over the top of that . May have to look into doin me something like this but in more modern times where they are generally little mechanic shops. They're made by Scale Modeling by Chris and are available here: Resin Page 6 He has the decals for Coke, Pepsi, 7-Up, and Frostie Root Beer for on the machines, but that doesn't meen that you couldn't make into something else with different decals. I 'member a lil station that I used to buy BULK oil to burn in my buddy Bob's 64 Fairlane 500. We used ta call her ThunderBolt,The WonderColt! I remember the rings were installed UPSIDE DOWN!
