Dr. Cranky
That's a good question, Jim, and I think this is more of a flat terrain type of vehicle, the modifications never really thought-through all the way . . . at least that's the story. I got primer on all the parts finally! I really like using all the different color primers, for different effects as you will begin to see as soon as the paint starts going on. Tom Geiger
Okay! I've got my popcorn and beer and I'm ready to learn and be entertained! Let the rust begin!
crazyjim
I wouldn't have all the patience to lay out the parts like that. I tend to make piles.

Dr. Cranky
Thanks, Bob, and Jim, laying out the parts like this is therapy for my OCD.

Dr. Cranky
Thanks, everyone, the painting has begun, and it's going slow. We are in the salting/texture stage which is repetitive but quite a bit of fun. Stay tuned in for more.

Dr. Cranky
All right, you CRANKYHEADS, this is what almost two days of painting with the airbrush (except the engine and the bed rack which were rattled canned) looks like: Everything has received the salt/hair spray technique to achieve this look so far. I really like the way the body and the wood on the bed have turned out. So far so good, and so far so much fun.

We have to apply Doctor Cranky's GUNK LOTION #5, the love potion, and #9 too, and all the others. LOL!
