Looking great so far! The engine in this kit lends itself to some detailing and comes out looking great.

Could probably remove every other spoke and get a lot closer.

Out of curiosity what was the price?

I have numerous (10-15?) kits in various stages of completion. Some could be finished in a couple of hours, some would take a couple of days. I get so far on them and then something either goes horribly wrong (forgetting which clear I used and spraying Rustoleum over Tamiya) or I go in search of something to finish one build and end up starting/mocking up another project. Then there’s the fact that I’m starting to think that the manufacturers are plotting against me and keep releasing all of these new kits that I just have to have(added to the almost 200 that I have already).

Does anyone print or offer an up top for the convertible kit?

It’s blue flocking I got on clearance at Michael’s a few months back. This brand. I bought 3 packs of 5 different colors.

The garage is a work in progress. I have all the diorama stuff to finish it up, I’m just too lazy to paint it all 😂🤣

I actually just detailed it with some watered down black acrylic paint. I also used the back of a Xacto blade to remove the center from the surrounding then glued it back in. I think it gives it some more depth.

Been working on this one off and on since I got it for Christmas last year. Got the majority finished up last weekend and finished the details up today. It’s not perfect but I’m happy with it.

So you used pearl white over the bare plastic? Reason I ask is I’m looking for something this exact shade for a project that I’m working on right now.
