  1. i know how much work and time goes into doing something like this and it looks fantastic. can't wait to see more.
  2. they look so real its incredible. now i will be looking in my rear view mirror all day.
  3. i have been working on this van in my spare time. i should have taken a little more time on it and it would have come out better. the van is supposed to look like a neglected just out of service painters van that has a bad motor. i still have to do some lettering and the frame should be moved a little more to the front as i did not notice untill it was done that the wheels are to far back. i just don't feel like tearing it down to move it up. any way its a junk right!! lol. some things to look for are the hand made accessories. it had no door handles so i added those and i had to cut out the back doors. o made some funky looking hinges so the doors open and close.i made the old wooden ladders and the ladder racks. i made the paint brush and roller and the roller pan was an oil pan. i made the buckets of paint a few other things. i also cut out the plastic grills in the headlights and remade them out of wire the plastic looked so bad and i remade the floor as it had molded in back speakers so i trashed it. the frame and motor are d.m. 53 ford pick up
  4. sorry i haven't been on in awhile guys just been to darned busy with work and all.anyways i was driving down this old country road and ran across this 1950 olds 88 with for sale signs on it. anyone want to tackle a restoration on it. maybe Ryan can turn it into a rat rod. its actually an ertl 1/18 authentic's series. it started out as an all blue car i repainted it fern green and white then proceeded to turn it into the junk you now see.all of the parts that are off of the car were missing when i received it from my friend a few months ago hope you like / hate it

  9. OK!! I AM A LITTLE EMBARRASSED WITH THIS REPAINT.FOR THE LAST TWO WEEKS I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO REPAINT THIS CADDY LIMO A DIFFERENT COLOR AS A TEST PROJECT IN MY SHED AND I HAVE GOT TO TELL YOU IT HAS BEEN A LIVING NIGHTMARE. ALL WINTER I HAVE BEEN STORING THINGS IN IT SO THERE IS NO ROOM TO WORK.ON TOP OF THAT ITS BEEN SO COLD EVEN WITH MY LITTLE HEATER THAT MY FINGERS WOULDN'T WORK WELL.THIS MODEL WAS ONE OF MY DISTRESSED CARS SCRATCHED PAINT WITH MISSING AND BROKEN PARTS. WELL THE PAINT WAS GOING FINE UNTIL I DROPPED THE CAR BODY SO NOW IT NEEDED SOME TOUCHING UP AND WITHOUT GETTING TO FAR INTO IT I KEPT HAVING LITTLE THINGS GO WRONG. SO I JUST SLAPPED IT BACK TOGETHER AND IT IS NOW ON EBAY. ON THE NEXT ONE I WILL WAIT FOR BETTER WEATHER AND TAKE MY TIME. WOE IS ME.

  11. very nice job i actually did two of these in 1/24th scale. one for me and one for a customer of mine. i still have to do the diorama part of it just been waiting for the weather to cooperate.i used a franklin mint dillinger car and a resin body like the one you show in your pics i had to cut the car in sections in order to make the back doors the correct size.
  12. it is very nice. mine came yesterday and its a keeper for sure.
