6bblbird Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 (edited) Some folks would give up parts of their anatomy for one of those!Maybe we can persuade Moebius to bring that one back as a new tool! Edited January 11, 2017 by 6bblbird
Snake45 Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Very very nice! Well worthy of a Survivor Resto. Clean it up, touch it up, fix it up a little, put it back on the shelf for another 50 years!
carman1 Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Nice original build ! Keep it as is like snake said !
espo Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Still looks great even after all this time. Hard to say if you just leave it as is or blow it apart and foil and black wash some additional details or what. They are only original once.
High octane Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Some folks would give up parts of their anatomy for one of those!Maybe we can persuade Moebius to bring that one back as a new tool! You're right about that as I just sold one last summer, and I wish that I had 10 of them to sell.
StevenGuthmiller Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Hard to say if you just leave it as is or blow it apart and foil and black wash some additional details or what. That's where I would go with it. I think all of these old annuals could use the benefit of today's building techniques. But that's just me. You're right about that as I just sold one last summer, and I wish that I had 10 of them to sell. I just bought one a little while ago. I'm glad that I don't have to buy 10 of them!! Steve

espo Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 I'll look forward to a repost after you have updated this model. I have done a couple from the past also and I agree with what we know now it just improves them so much.
Quicksilver Posted January 12, 2017 Author Posted January 12, 2017 Thanks guys but I think I will leave it as is, not quite that confident in myself yet doing a rebuild of it..as for selling it sorry can't do that, part of the MoPar collection...I bleed Hemi Orange...but like ALL cars. I had a 68 Bee a few years back...So I hope someone redoes the 68 Coronet kit so you can build a base Coronet Deluxe - 440 - 500 Super Bee or R/T Coupe and Hardtop.
