PierreR89 Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 Its not the right mirrorarms on it, i gave up on the ones that were supposed to be there (stupid things, way to many parts with almost 0 places for the glue to even attach to..) Any ideas on how to get them together? i have a road boss that have the same arms and now i dont have any left over arms from any other truck.. I think these are left over arms from the Peterbilt 352. The exhaust stack tilted to one side after i left it to let the glue dry and so did the hose tenna... Had to modify the mounting for the hood so it would close properly so instead of being able to tilt forward its removable. Never going to build one of these again with all the problems i had with it (more that i dont even want to list..)
towman1271 Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 With all the problems, it still turned out very nice! Good job
tbill Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 These kits will test your patience, that is for sure. Your build looks pretty good considering the troubles you had. As far as the mirrors go, I build them on the bench, pain in the rear, but it can be done, lots of touch up after they are built, chrome pens really help.

Bainford Posted February 18, 2019 Posted February 18, 2019 Your effort was worth it. Good looking truck with that rugged, all business look that works so well on these old work horses. Nice work.
Sledsel Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 Looks good to me. These old work horses were worked and never perfect... well, maybe when new.
stavanzer Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 I have one on my bench now. The frame has come out square, so I good so far. What other issues did you face? Your's certainly belies all the trouble it gave you. Sharp Build.
TECHMAN Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 ??? Even with all the problems it gave you, still turned out to be a good looking truck!!!! DJ
