michelle Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 here is my 1/24th scale greenlight diecast mad max interceptor i modified to look like it did at the end of the mad max fury road prequal video game called mad max i did have to do the fury road version of the head lights cause there was no way i could cut out the molded in diecast head light covers to make the smashed out head light covers so i just drilled a hole in the center of the one and used the dremel to make cuts around the whole to make it look like cracks i used the dremel to cut off the diecast trunk lid and lower front air dam and to make all the gashes in the body of the car i cut away the back seat and removed the front passenger seat and the police radio and police dash light and modified the exaust pipes allong the sides and weathered the interior and wheels and chassie to look like dried dirt and mudd and then used rust weathering powder to weather the body and added a dried mudd and dirt paint to areas of the body

Yahshu Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 (edited) Looks like it's part rebellion creations part cavalier. You've done a nice job on an imo poor representation of an iconic car. I was fortunate enough to go school in the same building complex when the MM2 (Road Warrior) vehicles were being constructed so as you can imagine theses vehicles, especially the Pursuit Special have had a huge impact on my life. (it was only called the "interceptor" in the 2nd movie). Now I need to go finish my Aoshima MM1&2 Pursuit Specials. Thanks for the inspiration. Edited March 17, 2019 by Yahshu
