Hi!

Mash-up of the iconic '66 Nova body with Revell's '87 TBird pro-stock chassis & hood scoop. Some modifications required: shortened rear floor pan, recontoured upper tubs to adapt to inner quarter panels,  molded bumpers,etc.

Since I did not want to end in front of a Chevy purists firing squad... I removed the Boss 429 valve covers and scratchbuilt "experimental" twin-cam heads and covers for this "reborn" Chevy engine... They looks vaguely like the famed Aardena units first seen in the 70's. 

Finish is Testor's pearl white, purple and green lacquers, with Wetlook clear.

Hours of fun with styrene!

More of my 66 Nova big tire, no prep car.Don't know if I’m gonna build it blown or not.I guess I have to see

To Robert's point... The paint design was actually copied from a beautiful car I saw for sale on Ebay. It is in the Las Vegas area, I think. See pix below.

I wish I had some extra cash,I’d buy this really nasty Nova in a second.I tried replicating this beautiful blue car.Turn it lose on the street.Get it all legal.A very nice 7 second street car.??
