iBorg
Before I order a can or two....is this a metalflake or a gloss. I need a metalflake that matchens this:http://www.slixx.com/7105.htm It is starting to challenge me. Thanks!
RichCostello
Go Mango is not metalflake, try Testors Extreme Lacquer Flaming Orange.
Plowboy
I would use Tamiya Metallic Orange over gold or silver. I have a model painted over gold that is about dead on to that color. No photos. This is metallic orange over gray primer.
bisc63
That's a very attractive color, and Plowboy's is very close, and looks great. Another alternative is to go here and buy a 1 oz. bottle of the actual paint (Chrysler Tangerine Pearl): https://www.paintscratch.com/cgi-bin/order-form.cgi Edited January 23, 2020 by bisc63 typo
iBorg
Strange as it seems but that color isn't listed by almost every maker of scratch paint. MCW doesn't make it. The Tamiya color looks like a good choice over silver.
tbill
First one is go mango, second is flaming orange
gtx6970
Fyi. Go mango isn't even close to that. Flaming orange has a lot of big metallic in it. This is flame orange Edited January 23, 2020 by gtx6970
bisc63
Go to the site I linked above, choose your vehicle as: 2003, then Chrysler, then PT Cruiser. Scroll down to Tangerine Pearl (code VE/AVE). They have it, it's a weirdly organized site. The first time, I just typed Tangerine Pearl into the search box at the top of the page. How did I miss that the first three times I looked?
