Mopar - D
Thanks Jeff the Mack was my first choose and I had one in my collection so it’s here. Kevin the wheels fit good but I had to move the front axle forward about 3mm to clear the back part of the fender.

Mopar - D
Continue to make progress on transporter #3. Today is a good weather day for painting and I took advantage of it. Was able to get rims, tires, wheel assemblies and frame all painted.
DRIPTROIT 71
Looks Awesome! You’re going to have to build a crane to load this thing onto the transports. ?
Mopar - D
Thanks Brian I would build the crane for it but I definitely don’t have any place to display that. The height of the boom would be over 5’ tall.

kilrathy10
That's awesome... I could see this baby heading down I-10 to Baytown backing up miles of traffic in its wake... ?
AmericanMuscleFan
The term "Heavy Duty" is a euphemism with this transporter Dan! It must not be able to turn on a dime...
Mopar - D
JT - I’ll let you know when it’s going to be on I -10 to save you from the extra traffic. Francis - the transporters actually can turn on a dime. All the wheel assemblies will turn 90 degrees as well as rising and lowering +/- 3’. This allow the load to stay level plus with modules transporting they will lower the module directly on the foundation.

Sorry for the dumb question, but are the wheels controlled by an independent servo control unit or/and connected in some way to the steering wheel of the tractor? I'm in a totally unknown ground here...
Mopar - D
Francis, The transporters are independent from the tractor and the transporters are all tied together with a single controller. The controls for my setup is on the gooseneck. Over the years I’ve seen these transporters do all kinds of loads and perform so really cool things. I’m making my way through transporter #4 and hoping to start painting tomorrow.
