alternative to 'The Treatment' model-wax

I priced 'The Treatment' model car wax, and it is quite high.  Are there alternatives that modelers use to 'The Treatment'?  Thanks

The "Treatment" is just carnauba wax.

Any automotive wax with carnauba will do basically the same thing.

Just wondering why carnuba is a good thing.  I use a various automotive liquids with good results.

I don't use wax at all.

A good liquid polish is all that's needed.

I really like the Tamiya wax. It creates a nice lustre. I’ve never used The Treatment wax so I can’t compare the two. 
It’s excellent for use on the glass, too.

I used The Treatment for a while 20 or 30 years ago, and I run across the nearly-full tub every now and then. 

I found that, for me, its disadvantages outweighed its advantages. I get along quite nicely without it these days.

I used to use it many years ago as well, and liked it.

Later, when I couldn't find it anymore after my LHS closed, I moved on to other polishes.

Never felt any need to return to wax.
