JollySipper
I've gotten to where I like to block sand things to get them super smooth. Whether I'm sanding bare plastic or anything else, I use this method...... I simply wrap a 1/4 sheet of sandpaper (this is #2000 wet/dry) around a large artist's eraser. It's flexible enough to conform to the curves of panels, yet firm enough to smooth things out.... Anyway, I thought someone could benefit from this....... Bainford
I do the same. All my sanding on the body is block sanding. Very effective at panel joints for keeping everything flat and sharp. I use a white vinyl drafting eraser, and have one end trimmed at an angle to get tight into corners. Sometimes I’ll trim an edge to a radius to suit a particular spot.
