Fine you guys twisted my arm here's the C6 mates to the Cammer

FB_IMG_1671348452186.jpg

I wasn't meaning no arm twisting, I thought the two manuals you posted were different transmissions. But I'm not going to lie, the c6 is a great option to have. I love the header options too, that's one of the weak spots of most of the currently available cammers and makes a tough fit even harder. Needless to say I'm down for a couple once they're ready.

That was a joke, if you notice the time stamps they were only 45 minutes apart, I was already planning on it. So a little insight about me, I like to make a joke here or there and while I can joke around I am pretty chill for the most part until I am not. The whole manual was I got a better option than my manual from AJ.

I figured, the second manual is an improvement over the first one for sure.

Well the first one isn't bad and it used to have all the linkages and what have you, but yes the second one is better.

So as of now it's the only one, but I will most likely adapt the C6 to it, but forget renderings here's my first test print.

Wow Charles, that looks great.  Still gonna do a Hilborne injected version?

Really thought you guys knew me better by now. Yeah the Hilborn NA injected the blower with like 3 different hats available or more Carb setups, I am even playing with the idea of doing a BBF to GM trans adapter. I like to give options.

Awesome, looking forward to them?

Here is an intake I use.   Be glad to send one to anyone who wants one

So Jim, is that for the "cammer" engine?? Just what I need for the Meobus Comet I will be building.

I’m not sure exactly which engine that one came from.  I do however have a 427 Cobra drawing and have been working on the intake from that one.  I will have to send a picture of that one when I get home.    Here is a picture of the entire engine it came from

The intake from that engine will not fit the 427 SOHC without modifications.
The engine in your picture is a regular Ford FE with wedge heads and the only thing the regular FE 427 and the 427 SOHC has in common is the basic block design.
On a Ford FE the intake manifold is wide and the flanges mates up to the heads under the upper lip of the valve covers, the SOHC has a different intake manifold design and the heads are also totally different and the intake manifold mates up to the heads before the valve covers, not under them like it does on a regular FE.

Ford 427 SOHC 8 stack fuel injection intake manifold, Hilborn in this case.

Regular Ford FE 8 stack intake manifold.

Ford FE Weber intake manifold wich looks very close to a 8 stack fuel injection manifold.
Notice the mounting flanges for the valve covers and the holes for the push rods.

The valve covers are oriented wrong (backwards or upsidedown however you want to say that) and after playing with the SOCH I question the accuracy. It's a good model and I used it as well but needs lots of modifications to be printable. Best of luck to you and I think you can use it to make a great model none the less.

Yes you are right...I didn't notice that.
The valve covers are upsidedown if you look at the bolt pattern, the FE has two bolts on the bottom and three up top, one in the middle and one towards each side slightly lower.
