misterNNL Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 IMHO the section right behind the top is too flat plus the 3/4 rear view shows a marked difference when compared to a real Zephyr which is much narrower "in the hips". Nice blending of mis-matched panels.
Paul Payne Posted September 13, 2022 Author Posted September 13, 2022 Well, since Ford never made a Zephyr, they MIGHT have used whatever sheet metal was available from their shelves..........................................
Paul Payne Posted October 1, 2022 Author Posted October 1, 2022 Scotland to the rescue! Got my 40 standard hood today and it's perfect! Now I can continue this project! I love the profile of the 39 and 40 standards! 1
Paul Payne Posted October 26, 2022 Author Posted October 26, 2022 Finally got it finished- the fit of the hood is still a bit wonky but it conveys what I wanted to create- an upscale 1939 Zephyr Ford 3 window coupe! More pix in under glass. 1
Paul Payne Posted November 25, 2022 Author Posted November 25, 2022 Finally got around to photographing the engine and interior- the interior is hard to see with the chopped top.
