dougwintz Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 Hi. This is the beginning of the build of Lancia Delta S4, by NuNu. With detail parts by the same manufacturer. I'm substituting their decals for carbon fibre/fiberglass surfaces with Scale Motorsports. I'm using some leftover Testor's metalizer paints. Sorry they are being discontinued!. Anyway, start of a journey here. 1
Miatatom Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 Nice start. Lots of detail. I'd mess that up for sure.
Bainford Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 Coming along great. Looks like a nicely detailed kit, and you certainly have a handle on it. I haven't seen one of the Nunu kits built yet, so watching for sure.
Smilesperhour Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 Will be watching this one..a delta S4 is on my wishlist
dougwintz Posted January 4, 2023 Author Posted January 4, 2023 Thanks for the comments. I'll keep you posted.
Matt Bacon Posted January 5, 2023 Posted January 5, 2023 That looks really good. Nicely detailed and really well built, painted and weathered. Goodness only knows how they got away with that as a "Delta" for homologation, though... best, m.
dougwintz Posted January 8, 2023 Author Posted January 8, 2023 Added the dash, and got one of the seats finished. Did I say making seatbelts is my least favorite activity! 1
dougwintz Posted January 24, 2023 Author Posted January 24, 2023 I worked on the body sections, adding a lot of mesh. For the front nose, I opened up the access panel that will lead to a spare tire. After finishing some additional detailing, I'll add the decals. 1
dougwintz Posted February 4, 2023 Author Posted February 4, 2023 Fast forward, finished. With the exception of some plumbing to be added later.
