Ulf Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 (edited) I had to measure out three points for screws on Moon caps, my goodness how difficult. A colleague CAD drew this picture that I intended to print with the circles as a guide so that the cap was centered but it was actually easier to save the picture in my smartphone, set up the brightness on the Smartphone and put the Moon cap on the screen. I checked that the image/circle was correct on the screen with a circle template. Edited March 16, 2023 by Ulf
ctruss53 Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 I'm not sure what you are saying. But I like CAD.
peteski Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 While not CAD, I use Corel Draw, which is a vector-based drawing program to do my measuring for me. It sure is easier than to do it manually. Actually Corel Draw could be considered as a 2D CAD program.
