Need Computer Help

For some reason the "return arrow" up in the left-hand corner of the page has been replaced with the "refresh" circle.  It is not only on this site but throughout my computer.  I have done a restart with no results.  When I try to clear cache and cookies nothing happens.  I click on the "clear" button and nothing happens.  Any advice?

has there been a recent update to your browser? if there has you may be able to bring it back to how you like it in the settings.
