danielpras Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Hi, allow me to introduce my self, my name is daniel, and im from jakarta Indonesia. Im new in this forum. I really love land rover, special the series. My dad and I own an oldskool land rover series II & III. Since i used to live with land rover since i was born (because of my dad), it also gives an influence on building the scale model/miniatures (plastic model kit & die cast custom modification) which is my hobby well i hope i can join this forum, really thanks for the opportunity to join this forum. here are a few models that i've done or almost done.. i know its still rough n not finished in a good shape, but i did enjoy buildin every one of them.. hope i can finished better in the future enjoi the pics fellas, many thanks before, cheers, daniel pm nb: really sorry if my english is bad

I have to dig them out of storage, as I built the Tamiya 1/35 LR Ambulance and the SAS open version. The SAS kit was one of my early attempts at weathering and wear. I will post pics when I find it.

Welcome to the forum!!!!! thank you sir'.. the first model in the pics that you talkin about, its from the italeri land rover series III 109' station wagon (1:24).. but i did some conversion on turnin out the model became the short wheelbase model 88' by cutting down the chassis n body..and the other accesories such as roof rack, the luggage, winch, antenna, etc were scratch build. i did the weathering because i think an expedition vehicles should looks dirty n battered..and yes im happy to have this kit badly battered

I suspect you've done this more than once to one of the family Rovers?? hi, thanks sir.. i saw a couple pics of post offroad event, and i really this looks where there are 2 mud in the body of the vehicles, one is the already dry one, and the other is the wet one..so i'll try to make that effect in this land rover,,, and yups, i did this weathering almost to every rover models that i made.
