crazyjim
I'm building another Revell '32 5 window coupe and wanted to try something different this time so I cutoff the running boards and glued the front fenders to the frame. I then reshaped fenders. The rear fenders were glued on and I reshaped them and added a panel between them. I'll be using the hemi engine in this puppy. crazyjim
Put the body in prime yesterday. I'm hoping to mold a taillight that will fill the area I created with the Evergreen. It would a full width unit. I haven't figured out how to create, mold, and cast such a piece yet.
crazyjim
Just a small update - I'm planning to use '69 Camaro taillights. The chassis is in color so I can start putting that together. The trunk ties into the chassis as does the rear of the passenger compartment, so all that needed final paint before assembly.
Jantrix
Very cool Jim! I'd say you've hit the mark. Very different. Originality counts folks! Anyone who says different is selling replicas.
crazyjim
Finally made some progress on my deuce coupe. Here's the interior and chassis. Like the seats? They're my castings and will soon be available from Crazy Scale Auto Parts.
W-409
Wow, nice seats! They are pretty close to the ones, which are in 1:1 Buick... And racing seats are always great and inportant stuff, also these little more modern style. Nice job with the Ford too. And lots of nice stuff on Crazy Scale Auto Parts, specially 409 parts and that quitar, and and and...
crazyjim
Got the coupe painted and I'm putting it together. Next time will be under glass. New items coming soon to Crazy Scale Auto Parts. Several types of valve covers are in the molds setting up and a friend is sending me some to be molded.
