Lyle Willits Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Finished this the evening before I left for NNL EAST. Replicas & Miniatures Co. of Maryland resin sport coupe body and up-top, mastered by Craig Stansfield. Tamiya brown and dark yellow. Orange pinstripe decal. Custom interior, full race flathead, resin wide-5 wheels with '36 Ford 2-piece hub caps and big & little tires, '32 Chevy hood sides.
Erik Smith Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Very cool. Nice to see an uncommon version of a common car. Color, wheels, and engine all add up to a great period look. I'm looking at this on my phone - I'm going to have a look on the "big" screen!
Bernard Kron Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Now that's modeling! Kudos to Norm at RepMin for providing the raw materials to create at this level (and to you and Craig Stansfield and all the other talented folks who make the masters). Now I'll just kick back for a while and gives this build the close examination it so richly deserves.
Janne Herajärvi Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Now that is differend color combo, and differend 32 in many ways. I like it
sjordan2 Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Very, very nice and one of a kind. Great paint scheme and execution.
W-409 Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 Nice to see something different... This one looks good. Color combo is just perfect, and paintjob looks good too. I like that body, and engine detailing is very very great! That powerplant looks like how it is in 1:1 car. Nice job with the interior also, this one is great.
charlie8575 Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 Nice to see someone else do a stock '32, and a V8 with a rare body style, too. Very nice, Lyle. Charlie Larkin
Randy D Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 Lyle, What a great model!! Your details and paint work really show on this one, Congrats!! Randy
