Dominik Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 (edited) Hi everybody, here i want to show you my Ford F100 Paneltruck. It is the "Harley Davidson"-kit from revell, but the decals were missing in my box. I bought it used. after three different paintjobs i didn't know, what i will do with him and so it goes back in may shelf. time is running and so i took him again, cut out the back doors, built the load room and placed a driver behind the steeringwheel. The guy is always making phinecalls - just like a woman... For finish, i made a classic white-blue colored body. and put some "Stickers" on it. Enough of words, take a look at the pictures: Sure, he had to delivery... ....wait a minute... Edited August 29, 2011 by Dominik
Dominik Posted August 29, 2011 Author Posted August 29, 2011 (edited) ...here we go... I hope, he is not forgetting to close the backdoors, before i is going to drive... Thanks for your attention, comments welcome Edited August 29, 2011 by Dominik
62rebel Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 let me see if i can do this right.... das ist schonne? meaning to say, "that is shining (pretty)!" it'd be simpler if you were Le Francaise.
Eshaver Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Dominick, that truck of you'res is the first time I have ever seen this model built , besides myself . See, I own a 53 . I spoke to a resin caster several years ago about doing a stock conversion and a corrected body as the roof is waaaaayyyyyy too flat . I can send you some shots of mine if you like . Interesting model and a different subject , you get my vote just over that ! Ed Shaver
george 53 Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Another nice build Dom! It looks good and the colors are perfect on it!
Dr. Cranky Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Oh man, this is a wonderful model, and the details really make it stand out. Great job on the decals too. Very very nice. Congrats.
Skydime Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 I was just wandering, did you cut off the back doors and glue them in place? The truck looks great.
Dominik Posted August 30, 2011 Author Posted August 30, 2011 Hi buddies, thank you very much for kind words! Dominick, that truck of you'res is the first time I have ever seen this model built , besides myself . See, I own a 53 . If you want, post it here or in a thread of your own. Its you choice The different roof is interesting - i think not only for me. I was just wandering, did you cut off the back doors and glue them in place? The truck looks great. Hi Ken, i cut it out and tried, to make the doors movable - but i "failed" after a lot of tries. So i fixed it open. If i make those workes like cutting out doors, i try always, to have it movable. @all: with this little scene, i tried to show "fast delivery", "load securing" like in real life - also the "relaible" driver
Dominik Posted August 30, 2011 Author Posted August 30, 2011 that's pretty cool i built mine as a stock-ish Wonder bread delivery van Hi Dave, would like to see yours too
