cobraman Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 Wow ! Thats a lot of stuff. Is that a small rear section of a 60 Ford I see ? If so I wonder what happened to the rest of it.
MyBradKeselowski Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 Went to my local Hobby Lob for paint and went home with a AMT 1970 Camaro, was also the last one they had...
Austin T Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 Good Lord,he can ship all those parts for 20 bucks? That's impressive.
2000-cvpi Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 Good Lord,he can ship all those parts for 20 bucks? That's impressive. I don't know how the seller could have shipped that much stuff for twenty bucks. It's a great score for that price. Lots of neat parts that should make for some real nice kit bashing.
martinfan5 Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 I bought and paid for a few models, just waiting for them to get here.
Johan020 Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 I won this auction and got the parts in yesterday. Lots of cool stuff for sure. http://www.ebay.com/itm/120937683473?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2648 WOW thats a great buy
2000-cvpi Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 I got sticker shock at the local hobbytown USA. They had a Tim Flock 55 Chrysler for 40.99 and the new parts pack by AMT two sets of tires for 18.99. I didn't get either, even though they both looked great.
Bart68 Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 I got this in the mail today from Ebay and I only paid 17.99 plus shipping. I'm doing the Happy Dance right now..
Guest Johnny Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Was at Hobby Lobby with the better half and she picked out the 25 T kit and said I could have it if I built the stock T Roadster for her. She even had a 40% off coupon for me!
Nick Winter Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Got just a few things from Pat Redmond. the bag contains a Revell '32 Ford Roadster with McDonalds Dio. The GTX is actually a unbuilt AMT '68 RR. Nick
prostockmania Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 got these in the mail end of last week and today, could not pass up the deal, The 76 Caprice's are the original 76 issue, no the recent repop- for the same price as the re pop each.
4DCustoms Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 (edited) I received an eBay purchase today. It actually turned out to really be to good to be true. The most exceptional eBay experience I have had yet. $33.99 free shipping from Ohio a Fujimi 1/16 scale Ferrari F40 Enthusiast kit. Almost every bag was unopened. The only one that was was the body. It did not include the instructions manual but I have already downloaded the pages from 1999.co.Jp they scan the instructions to their website. Needless to say I got a killer deal on this. Big Daddy Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Just got back from erie pa and picked a few things up The Hobby Lobby there is huge (old K mart ) i've never seen so many kits under one roof i counted 48 different kits 2- 30 foot aisles related to the hobby since i dropped my badger 200 figured i'd replace it with the same plus a paasche
hotrodblder Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 It wasn't today exactly, but I was able to score a Polar Lights Donnie Allison '60 Torino Talladega still sealed. I;ve had others tell me that I got a stellar deal with what I was able to get it for. Now I can't wait to get it in the mail.
JamesW Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Got the Cadillac in a trade and the 66 wagon as a gift from my club prez and fellow forum member James (Darkside Customs) And got this on Ebay.
bandit1 Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 hey james...i like that 72'....the only thing is.....chassis detail....well it lacks
JamesW Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Yeah, it's one of AMT's worst pickups as far as chassis detail.
bandit1 Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 so what do you plan on doing with it?....i am going to use either a revell 65 c10 rear sub or an amt 66 rear suspension....wack the back part off right behind the cab....
JamesW Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Hadn't thought that far ahead, but I suppose an AMT 88 Silverado chassis might work.
bandit1 Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 im not familiar with that 88 p/u kit...but sounds pretty cool
