maltsr Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 This Revell '50 Olds is inspired by the 1954 Chevy custom 'Citric Acid'. Lowriders often feature all the factory trim, and I went this route because I had already painted the body before shaving the trim. The kit has been lowered, sports Pegasus wheels and tyres and is painted Tamiya Metallic Orange and Pearl White. The interior has some Testor's Inca Gold accents and BMF trim.

Custom Mike Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Beautiful color Paul, and a nice, clean build! What did you use for the seats, and how did you get it on so cleanly?
maltsr Posted November 11, 2013 Author Posted November 11, 2013 Thanks everyone for the kind comments, I had a blast building this kit. Beautiful color Paul, and a nice, clean build! What did you use for the seats, and how did you get it on so cleanly? Mike, I just used Tamiya masking tape over the Pearl White and applied a few light coats of Testors Inca Gold, followed by some Tamiya clear orange, both straight from the can.
