Nick Winter Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 When was the last time you saw one of these? A friend tried selling it for nearly 3 years at the hefty sum of $2, and ended up giving 'ol peanut to me. I was looking for something yesterday and ended up finding him ,so the inevitable happened, Peanut was restored. I tore him apart, washed everything, polished the body and glass out, then repainted and replaced any missing parts. Nick
kylexgore Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Is it me or are the headers on the wrong sides? Overall it is a sharp looking resto!

W-409 Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 I've never seen anyone building this kit. Great to see one, it definitely brought a smile on my face. Great looking restoration and interesting looking build. Great to see more H-Bodies, even with that Smiling Nose.

Nick Winter Posted January 7, 2014 Author Posted January 7, 2014 Thanks everyone, I just couldn't bare to part out old Peanut. Is it me or are the headers on the wrong sides? Overall it is a sharp looking resto! yes, but thats the way the kit headers must have gone also to line up with the slots in the body? I found it strange also. Never saw a built one. Suposed to be poking fun at Jimmy Carter isn't it ???? I do know it was released when President Carter was in office! Nick
