Does anyone have photos of a build up they did, or a copy of the instructions for the optional set up that includes the square ribbed air box and forced air system?

I have searched Drastic Plastic for instructions with no results. They have two 68 El Camino kits but it isn't on them. Either this set up is not from the 68 El Camino or they never included it on the instruction sheet.

I received a resin copy from one of our members and I would like to see what it is supposed to look like when completed.

I will try to post pics today of what I have so as to help identify what I'm talking about.

Yes. The one with a grey car with a maroon stripe on the box art. Drastic Plastic doesn't have that issue.

The pics I was sent are not of the intake set up I have and due to Photobucket being a piece of BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH, I can't post photos of what I have.

I guess I'll do the best I can.

Here's a small pic of the box side, and it looks like a small supercharger with an offset, cone type air filter setup, as on Mark's build:

Is the image you have of the resin intake setup uploaded to your PB account? If so, which album is it stored in?

Oh my! I finally got it to work!

Not sure what kit this came from but I was told it is a resin copy from the 68 El Camino. However, I have not been able to find it anywhere. A friend of mine had one built up years ago and he also told me that it was from that kit. Anybody recognize it and can post photos of it built up?

I knew I had seen this setup somewhere, it's from the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454, so your friends were off by a couple of years. ;)
Images are from the Drastic Plastic Fotki site.

That's it!

Thanks Force...and everyone else who helped out to try to figure this out.

Now, does anyone have photos of it built?
