kenb Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Another one I've got to watch. John, how is that Imex FLH model? Is the detail really good? I was thinking of getting one to model my 72 FLH. It's a lot cheaper than the discontinued Tamiya kit. Ken

W-409 Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 This is going to be interesting project. And it will look very good when finished, I can say that already. Nice to see also Choppers built, I'm having one also but..... It's too modern and I have to do lots of modifications before I like it.
FASTBACK340 Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 I'm amazed at your proficiency John! As soon as one really nice build hits the shelf, you crack open the next one. Looking forward to your current build. The very first time I noticed your building was the Easyriders streamliner, so naturally I associate you with bikes. This should be a treat......
John Teresi Posted October 30, 2011 Author Posted October 30, 2011 Hello......this is another new magazine of my fathers that just came out.......it`s called "Road Iron".......my build will look like this but with a diffirent paint scheme and a few modifications......thank`s for looking.
Dr. Cranky Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 O man, I am really psyched about how this one is going to go . . . great idea and where did you get that tank? This is going to be another great build, John. I've pulled up my chair to the computer and popped some popcorn. I'm ready to enjoy this new styrene adventure.
John Teresi Posted October 30, 2011 Author Posted October 30, 2011 Hello.....I started on the mock-up.......modified the luggage bag`s and fender......I will work on the faring tomorrow......thank`s for looking.
whale392 Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 (edited) Well John, you will discover this soon enough.....the Imex 1/12th scale Bike and the Revell 1/12th scale bike ARE NOT THE SAME SIZE. The Revell unit is considerably larger, and the Imex motor/trans will look absolutely tiny in that chassis. Best of luck to you. (I was contemplating a similar swap until I got the two kits side-by-side) Edited October 30, 2011 by whale392
Darren B Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet so far I know this is gonna be a show stopper!!! You are one of the best that always inspires my builds, keep it up John!!!!
Dr. Cranky Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 I can't wait to see more of this one. Another classic build in the works. Go, John, go!
Mooneyzs Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Oh wow John... This is going to be a totally cool build. It is starting out great! I will be looking forward to all of your updates.
gasser59 Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 That Pancho Villa dude sure has a great vehicle designer. The stadium seats are filling up for watching this exquisite show and I'm in the front row for this one.
Draggon Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 I dig that Arizona seat! Oughta look great with your '32.
Dr. Cranky Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 BTW--John, where did you get the six-shooter?
