Plastheniker Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Hi, when I built Lindberg's Dodge L-700 as a restorer's rig I needed a "restored" load. After 55 years of modeling I started this stock 1941 Chevy as my very first pickup kit admittedly without much enthusiasm, but then I was really surprised that this kit was interesting to build and made a very attractive model. Besides some minor detailing it is OOB.
Eshaver Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Jurgen, they're even MORE fun to drive ! I used to own a 1939 model. Nice model work sir .
Ridge Rider Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 Very nice. I thought the same thing till I built one for a friend, now it's on my very long to do list if I can stop cutting up models and do some OOB's.
Sixties Sam Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 That is really well done! The interior is great! Good colors too! Sam
Tom Geiger Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 Wow! That came out nice. I build pickups and haven't built that one yet. I guess I should!
doctor phillips Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 Excellent job on this Jürgen!! Your attention to detail is outstanding...!!
Plastheniker Posted October 17, 2013 Author Posted October 17, 2013 Thanks for your kind comments. I am going to show the mentioned Dodge L-700 with this Chevy on the trailer within the next weeks in the Big Rigs subforum. I hope you will be interested.
