  10. thumbs up!
  11. very nice dually set! i'm sure it would work for other kits as well example monogram F250 dually......?
  12. Have to replicate our 1980 model scout with 80 kmiles all original traveler edition with the following spear stripes i found in a picture I think we have the same rims too..... 345 ci v8
  13. by the way did get your bucket seats don't know if i ever thanksed you or let you know i got them, what do i owe you? have not done much with this as of right now still paint searching and sanding body, mite have to pull it back out to the light soon.....
  14. making me want to try out rusting!
  15. very cool based off mpc's vett kits? you chopped the top?
  16. know i've posted already i'm sure but i saw the thread re- ammerge so here i am 2004 Saturn Ion "REDLINE" 2.0 L Eaton supercharged ecotec motor 5 speed manual tranny great car not many problems love to hear the supercharger !!!!
  17. very cool thanks for sharing, lost one of my "bigfoot" builds a few years back (hurricane katrina) salvaged some parts from it like tires and engine..... I would love to get a hold of the older bigfoot 1-2 trucks
  18. ok so "monster" trucks have come a Loooong way! but there is just something about this era of these trucks that seems so much cooler than the current era! like "nascar" i don't like the current cars or races, period! what happened to "stock car" racing like back when they took something that a average joe bough from the dealer showroom, then went home gutted interior and useless parts welded in a rollcage, bolted some speed parts on the engine and went racing!!
  19. found a msd like coil for the engine bay of this guy here, will get that all wrapped up soon and the bumpers and sidesteps all mounted, minor touchup painting and she should be about ready for showcase showdown!
  20. found a coil, so working on adding it to the engine bay and attaching coil wire from distributor , mounting front bumper and winch combo! also finishing wireing harness for floodlamps and finishing the minibike, and touchup paint here and their other than that shes about done! comments welcome! yes I intentionally turned the headers upside down and ran them out notches in the front of the hood looks like bull horns sort of i thought it was cool and different!
  21. wowo waaayyyy better than that Funky Gto based thing...... looks like a guitar from above and below! well done! great custom work!!
  22. i used this type of paint had the same problems weather i primed prior to paint or no primer........ All i did to render / fix the dull opaque look was spray some testors wet look clear cote over top and the paint shined right up! I felt no need for polishing as i was happy with results, I would just spray your clear on a small section or part of the body like bottom of a quarter panel as a test shot before wasting clear on the whole model...... Hope this helps......
  23. I agree very good ideas! never thought about the double wide tires like back in the starting heyday of the monster rigs!
  24. the previous thread was a joke about the Ruby tuesday commercials awile back "the 70's called they want their lamps back" lol didn't know if anyone would pick up on that or not?
