very cool i need another van body to use my coo coo decals i'm using that kit to build a firestone superstones van its the only van kit (ford) i found to have a wing on top -
I saw in Hobby lobby in the garage are section tin signs etc. there was about a poster size " hot rod comic" image of what looked like a old hot rod comic was very cool very cool vintage wall art its on my future "man cave" garage list
-
ditto I enjoy their monkey wrenching around antics, kinda really reminds me of the current status of hot rod magazine and their project road kill series/ segments except krass and Bern is better I.m.o

did the travalall also have a slightly different wheel base? longer by a tad perhaps? I know our 1980 has a white fiberglass removable top with a hatchback liftgate in the rear........ the truck is forrest green and has the multi coulored green various shades scout spear stripes (remind me of fords "laser" stripes on the torino's) a few years before my grandfather passed he got the scouts green paintwork redone (probly saved the truck from rusting away (minnesota) the fun task will be trying to find where my grandfather stashed the new scout decals i bought while i was in iraq and had them shipped to the scout...... No scott the truck is not for sale even though it sits beside my grandparents garage in (Richfield ) a sub city of minneapolis) pm me if ya wanna chat sometime with this misplaced minnesotan.....

look forward to those updates mike -
very cool, very messy situation!

my wife said the same thing, the bugs did not ask to be sent overseas and faulsely labeled, only to be executed makes no sense. i like the zoo donation idea...... so If I'm to pack myself up in a large box and label it as "model kits" and i don't make it through customs overseas, does that mean i get offed?? or whacked as the mobsters would say

I think if i ever am to get another foxbody mustang that I customize i would want to do a silver or black car with the "Zebra" interior

great custom seat work!! figured i'd post here and add since its "seat" related I'm doing some work on some mpc kit parts to replicate factory fox mustang seats somewhat factory correct 85/86 gt front bucket seat w/ red piping ( need to find more scale correct "smaller" red wire) mesh added to opened up "halo" mustang seats zebra interior!! reworking the rear split folddown rear seat 85/86 mustang

this kit can actually be built up rather nicely with some minor extra details, i'm going topless with one trying to make a "rallye" version i'd love to be able to make a custom travell all hatchback top (fiberglass) we have a 1980 in the family with the 345 ci big block (biggest for IH) light truck division 1980 was the last year of the truck as well...... they should never have quit making light trucks and suv's awell it in the history books a revamp of the last issue of the kit combined with older issues of the kit would be awsome!! you out there listening round 2 ??
