  3. bet hes got no problem hookin them tires at the track Grip and rip!! sweet throw together!
  4. wow very coool keep it going that suspention looks killer, puts my jeep build to shame lol
  5. Thanks mike i'll be watching yours for sure I am also trying to build a "scrambler" but i don't think i quite extended the bed far enough so it may just turn into an extended bed cj-7 rock crawler or something i'll need to watch your build carefully on how to go crawler style
  6. saw another memeber getting ready to make a rock crawler wish I had another kit to do something like that with, This one was a simple box stock build, except for the swapping of the auto tranny for a 5 speed from a cj-7 along with grafting in a plymouth duster firewall to the flat no detail plastic firewall for more detail such as heater hose and wiper motor, as well as borrowing the cj's chrome wheels thought they looked a touch nicer then the kit provided wagon looking spokers
  7. very cool I built a box stock one with slight mods, dropped the auto tans for a cj 7 stick tranny, i grafted in a plymouth duster firewall to the jeep firewall to implement extra detail, like heater hoses and a wiper motor makes the engine bay pop a little more compared to the "flat" firewall on the stocker unit its a posted "unde glass" item here someplace
  8. the only real downfall i say was the fuel tank on the chassis the fuel tank more or less resembled the previous mustang II chassis and fuel tanks Right now i modified a gas tank by chopping the sides off 2 and glueing them together and fabricating a spare tire well looks way better that way! other than that with lots of paitence they can be made quite nice there are also clear taillamps to make "lx" perhaps versions by removing the cheesegrader taillamps (very tedious to do) I have almost every issued version of the kit via amt and mpc ERIK
  9. often wondered about this kit myself now i'd like to get one.... very neat interior setup very rat roddish for sure if anything the kit would make for great additions to the parts bins Great build and thanks for the detailed reveiw, and the tip on the craft dots
  10. I love the IRS in the rear on this kit!! it transplants well into "most" other 1/25 scale foxbodys without any/ much fuss
  11. Shiney! I have a few of these i need to get done..... i want to make a "vert" cobra as well !! wish me luck!
  12. great work i have yet to get one of these newer notches..... need to BAD!! working or trying to finish up my mad resins 79' notch..... cobra front end conversion
  13. sorry no new pics yet hope to have em soon! time is drawing closer for baby girl 2 to getting here (october) things have been busy! relocated the bench, got all hobby paints and supplies detailing items organized and cleaned up most importantly all my kits are together now!! not half home half at storage its a daunting amount to look at!! update on the vans the orange van is ready for clearcote the "truckin" decals have successfully been applied without too many problems as old as they were...... i painted the fender flares black..... and am now trying to figure out hinge methods and fabricating an interior with roll cage!! hope to get pics up soon computer has been stupid lately too..... I'm a slacker!
  14. trying to get back on these, but its drawing real close to new baby time (2nd time) so hobby time has been real limited, just finally got my station relocated and all my kits to the same spot the "closet" all together not half home half at storage..... will try to crack the whip one these once i get some bench space cleared off
  15. farther from done then I would like I have family time more than hobby time with a 3 yr old the "truckin " orange van is defenetely closer to completion than the dually van appreciate all the positive feedback thusfar
  16. shiney!!
  17. very cool in my book it does indeed "work"
  18. engine looks great!! is that glass in line fuel filter a resistor? like ones i could find in the pull out drawers at any radio shack?? cause that looks sweet!! great work on the motor wish i had a mini lathe and knew how to machine Great job keep it coming!!
  19. yes the tow truck dually wheels are nice!! so is the wrecker bed, rest of the kit blah!
  20. well I sure the heck wouldn't be able to set any of that up, nor have the knowhow to ban ip's and certain other tasks that would need be done all the time
