  1. waaaayyy toooo many I need to find someone locally to help me out lol
  2. thats kinda a neato shifter handle! is that made from scrap stock too??
  3. i'm a fox nut but in this case i actually like the older stang better awsome!! what color gray is that on the 88??
  4. very good start on a great svo car!
  5. very awsome makes me want to get mine done!!
  6. pics of the real seats would be great references especially for proper coloring as close as i can get anyways...... i remeber my 85 gt the headrest was rather low on the seat but i remeber being able to pull up on it to adjust height..... Tall Folks ya know any pictures are appreciated
  7. very nice! i've got one of those capri's in my stash as well, since yours is black it would look great with the gold accenting sort of like the "black cat" fox body's i'm working one of those.....
  8. I thought the new revell foxbody was 1/25scale vs the cobra kits 1/24?? love those valve covers! look great on any 302 ford project!
  9. I look to get my 79' notchback with the pace car/ cobra front clip pretty close to done soon!
  10. very cool build i love the drivers side striker/ door latch detail along with the build/ buckplate/ sticker on the door.... very cool details way to add in that attention to detail...... I'm doubting anyone makes the "twister" decals for the 85/ 86 "GT" twisters they did then i'm working up a 85/ 86 gt 1/25 scale would be great to make a twister as well, decals will be the fallback on that one.....
  11. I want to say GMP's 1:18 scale interior depicting 85/ 86 GT mustangs is close, but still not perfect. but it is the best reference i have to go off from...... on the rear seats i had to cut the bottom seat down the center like the top halfs to get the materials to line up how they should..... now i will have to fill in the transmission half round on the side with styrene, and eventually make a new half round opening for the driveshaft hump in the center of the car..... the front seat turned out pretty well need to touch up paint now i cut off the original (2) headrest mounts for the made from styrene center single bar like the reall 1:1 seats have altho i think i have it setting up too high may have to bring it back down, or set the headrest directly ontop of the seat and see how that looks too..... defenetely may need to get some smaller diameter red wire!! anyone have multiple sizes of red wire in their arsenal?? not much update just interior work rough first try to get it as close to real as i can get Happy modeling everyone Enjoy the small updates on interior....
  12. heres the interior updates..... still need to work with the "mesh" for the halo top seats..... the mesh i got works ok, but it stretches and can get out of place very hard to work with may try regular screen material (for porches or screen doors) or i may try as well some leftover material my wife used to make a tutu for my daughter??? ..... used elmers wite glue on the backside of headrest to tack the mesh into place hopefully touchup painting will make gluethats dried not noticable...... pictures!
  13. may need to change red wire size a bit smaller diameater for piping but it gives ya'll the idea of what i'm going for as close to a 1:1 as possible even the 1:18 scale example i have is not completely correct that i know of....... the pace car zebra upolstery turned out way better than i had expected!! as far as the mesh for the halo seat tops that will be experimental not sure if i like how it came out going to find some leftover tutu material my wife used to make a tutu and try that out as well..... coming along tho.....
  14. I don't know if its possible to "buy" an entire car (or whats left of it) from a junkyard, but i wish i had back in my 5.0 days there was a bubble back capri , i could have made a real nice foxbody from its remains The cat in the photo by the way is "shadow" he supervises me alot
  15. I'm sure there are fellas out there that do have more than i do, But just choose not to build their stash......?
  16. wow thats making a snoozy former snap kit into something awsome!! you scratch built the entire bed i'm guessing?? have the blueprints on that?
  17. very cool especially the detail of the tailgate with the step up bar/ handle! I installed a backglass on a ford truck with that built in step in the tailgate with pop out handle very awsome feature! made getting in and out of the back of the truck a breeze
  18. I have limited internet use every month (most of which i use up here at good old mcm) But Folks should look up " Me First And the Gimme Gimme's" they do alot of (cover) songs old and new stuff for instance (somewhere over the rainbow, or who put the bop in the bop sha bop) they basically punk ruck the older songs with very fast upbeat tempo very cool though! i dig them i have 3 of their albums
  19. thanks I got another factory sealed annivarsary kit but i don't want to open it just for the decals lol i will have to contact keith marks his decals are probly better for the annivarsary cars rather than the kit provided decals sounds like you got a "haul" of rare foxbodys hope you still have them!! i'd like to find a "GT" turbo car those are rather Rare as well
  20. Thank you Freakshow, and James, does hobby lobby carry dullcote? i think you can get in spray from for sure, think i have seen it in paint jars as well??
  21. I am from minnesota (near minneapolis) top of Tornado Alley, now I live in the "gulf" of mexico south Mississippi we did not get twisters, but had some really bad storms with frequent lightning and thunder, dangerous straight wind gusts upto 60 mph and trenchal rains Not pensacola rain, but bad enough so now i'm at risk of hurricanes, and tornados Mother nature has been no joke lately last year or 2 bad storms during warm wether and this past winter was crazy in most places!
  22. very cool
