  3. did keith mark ever do "twister " decals for the 85/ 86 ford mustang gt 5.0 twisters?i know he did annivarsary foxbody decals and gt/ gt turbo decals....
  4. the 85/ 86 gt 5.0's so far
  5. i'm happy with the end results thus far, 1 marker light in front bumper is painted orange for photo purpose other is painted silver to indicate where they are at.....
  6. heres the bodys up to date starting from the rough in stages on up to basically complete ready for primer with the marker lights carved out of the bumper
  7. could not figure out with the dark blue (strip) car weather or not to leave the side mirrors shaved and the "gt" ground effects off or not, as it being a weekend warrior car it would have weight shaved off anywheres possible..... I did make a mistake on the t bar roof on the purple car i did not cut the panels all the way across, still neat though....
  8. heres my take thusfar on the 53' chevy going with the straight six power, found some awsome whitewall chrome steelies that complement the mythical maroon paint perfectly!! have most of the foil done on one side, not to bad as i'm not an avid bare metal foiler.... all comments welcome still trying to figure out if to use the decals or not to, they may clash with the chrome foil and conflict......
  9. the "MAD" resins comes as a solid hardtop coupe...... my body had slightly twisted/ warped as i had not worked with resin a whole lot, when that happened, and the money i spent on the mad kit i figured i might as well customize it some..... so on went the revell cobra front clip, and i cut out for the t bar, added the revell a pillar posts and front roof section. When i glued the front window in place for primer and paintwork i had the chassis underneath temporarily as well all of this seems to have worked out my warp issue, kinda worked out for the cool factor! not going too over the top crazy regular 302 v8 power manual 6 speed tranny not too far fetched from a real 1:1 car..... may do svt ford wheels
  10. very nice looks like it would be a great kitbasher for the older truck kits as well...... as far as engine, axles for sure!
  11. will be hopeing to post some pics soon have made some progress one body is nearly ready for primer and some color, the interior conversions are coming along as well making close to 85/86 gt bucket seats with red piping accents, going to try my hand at seatbelts as well......
  12. awsome man! i'm going to dust off my z 28 kit think its the same one, i may add a more modern motor perhaps, i did buy some peguses "Irocs" that will look awsome on a camaro will look right at home!
  13. you are right sir! the amt monster kits destroyer, and thunderbolt have the correct looking tear? style looking mirrors look just like the mirror in the picture thank you for bringing that up as I do have a set in my parts bin!! thanks
  14. i know the wing is slightly different its as close as i'm probly going to get, will have to figure out where those little red lights mount up at probly off the underside somewheres?
  15. anyone have a picture of the "future" and where do you get it? is it safe to cote old decal sheets with it to better hold together older frail decals?
  16. got the black painted on the run strips today trying to assemble some interior and take pics will update with more pics soon
  17. the 3" red lights were on the 1:1 van? there were no such lights mentioned in the coo coo instruction...... i think that would perhaps look tacky lights on the spoiler?
  18. yeah the paint is not "perfect "persay especially on this notchback (its resin) and lots of body mods with the t - tops so the paint turned out ok most of my paintwork i feel is just OK but from a slight distance on the shelf these foxbody models will look SWEEET!! Finally got all my foxbodys sorted and organized today was an all afternoon fiasco!! mite be able to progress faster now that things are organized!!
  19. thanks james feels good to finally be progressing some work

  22. they did not make very many of them..... its a pretty rare sight! so i jumped on it with the mad resins 79' notch awsome kit! well worth the money
  23. updated on the 79' notchback, have mostly all of the black trimwork painted/ black sharpie marker'd in except the sail panels, the red stripe is painted on the rub strips, headlamp and taillamp/ foglamp openings all painted chromesilver, just now need to touchup headlamp buckets and rubstrip mouldings with black, paint in the amber/ orange for the marking / park/ turn lamps glue in my tail lamps..... will try and get some interior shots soonB) more updates to come with interior pics I got a parts kit revell notchback i may build that chassis and put it under this notchback even though i already have the regular chassis plate carpet flocked in lt. blue, and other interior prepped and painted..... we will see starting to have a very sinister look to it even though its not painted black!
