  1. Mr. mike, those peguses tires..... your using them in lieu with the factory kit wheels? I ask because I want to say I bought a couple misc sets of those rubbers to "test" fit with various parts box rims without rubber they have a nicer detail than the kit treads too i'd imagine
  2. very clean tow rig whats in the trailer? lol
  3. I like what i see i have a few of these to build different year and varioations and the older horizon tc 3 i like everything about your build the simplified side exit exhaust is a nice touch! i wish they would tool some newer more modern stuff besides suburu's like the newer version of this car the srt4 dodge neon that 4 bagger turbo charged, or ss chevrolet cobalts 2.0 4 cylander supercharged! or even my lsj saturn ion redline with the same 2.0 litre ecotec eaton supercharged motor! wicked cool cars! not very common "oddballs " as you say sublime was a very proper mopar color super nice job
  4. awsome i will be watching how this is done!
  5. i am guilty of this all the time, usually its because i found a new "color" that would look waaaay better on a particular subject and stuff i get from e bay thats built almost always n gets torn down for parts or to be rebuilt
  6. is that a resin conversion kit to make a "regal?"
  7. how did you get that "off" white for the fan? that is spot on i have owned 85' and 86' gts i was amazed and mezmorized by the "plastic" fan on a v8 engine

  9. great looking! the last car "k mart" it seems all the "k marts" down here are or have gone "Belly up"
  10. hey toast very cool build! i'm originally spent my first 18 years of life up in minnesota! i fondly remeber the ol HHH Humper Dome! my grandfather took me to the monsterjam one when i was a smaller kid and i remeber us wearing his "earmuffs" from his wood shop out of the basement to muffle the loud motors some! I also live on the east coast for 2 years as well where my wife is from "currituck" county n orth carolina I litereally lived right down the street from the "Diggers Dungeon" the gravedigger shop / garage and home base wow they have a fleet of 18 wheelers i'd imagine that transport the various trucks all over the usa Never got to personally meet dennis anderson tho be lucky you have the HHH dome they fit the "fullsize trucks" in there i now live in south mississippi our coast coliseum seems big from outside but tiny inside! i went to a monster jam here, theres only 6-8 trucks that run and its a tiny course that they can't do much on they use "smaller" trucks for smaller stadiums so enjoy the Hubert H Humphry figured i'd share my "monster" related story
  11. that is cleanly built thats just like the 85 camaro kit they repoped its boxxed as glue kit but i think it was once upon a time a snap kit i always thought the pontiac emblem was kinda grotesqely oversized? i'm no expert though, minor item though clearcote over that shiny black plastic works great i've done that before
  12. tell me more about the wheels on the monroe handler in the background i'm working a coupke of these would love a set of wheels like that!

  15. by mis matched bed you mean newer ford f 350 dually bed with a older ford single cab? or are you referring to the 2nd bed that i "scratchbuilt" with just bed sides and leftover materials? pill bottle wheel wells...... wth mis matched blue/ red was intentional i tiik apart a glue bomb someone had gotten glue fingerprints all over the side of one bedrail, so i had spare regular non dually bed panels laying around i cut and spliced back together....... using all my parts/ materials here i try not to waste good styrene!
  16. This happens somewhat often! i have tons of kits tons of wip's various stages and i get to the bench and sit and all i can do is stare stoooopppid at my "stuff" or BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH as the wife calls it (junk as well) if only she knew how much fun it is!! I Tend to get out of these slumps simply by hooking up with other members via talking on the phone or texting and texting photos back and fourth of progress and tossing ideas back and fourth and this gets me motivated again especially when i get good comments and feedback from the forum here and people crying for more more! and updates! lol i've got "partner" builds going on with Bartster, and a very soon upcoming friendly buildoff with EvilBenny! All i will tip everyone off about that is it involves ford Escorts!
