Great rubber offroad tires with nice rims for 8$
MsDano85gt replied to MsDano85gt's topic in Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials
as you can see i pick these toys up every so often when i have the extra 8$ on hand its a bargain i think you can't buy offroad tires and rims that nice on e-bay for less money they will work for almost anything!! hope this post is usefull especially to all those 4x4 guys out there!! -
Figured i would post this info these toys are not at every single "Dollar General" store but that is where i get this "made in china" toyset for these fantastic offroad tires! the wheel is a 6 tire vehicle so if you get 2 toysets its enough offroad tires to do 3 model offroad trucks/jeeps! of course i hate to throw away a perfectly good toy! especially around the holidays with all the toys for tots dropboxes i went ahaead and "swapped" some virtually useless parts box hard plastic tires, and some rims from the parts box i won't use on my builds and replaced the stolen offroad tires kids do not discriminate tires on a toy! none that i know of anyway...... heres the pics! now the tank has some style/ bling should i have painted them flat black?? maybe but its a kids toy they won't care i think.......

my dad had a 67' camaro convertable from california (in minnesota) he had the 250 straight 6 in the car said he had a friend with a v8 camaro mid 70's? v nose front My dad said he took his v-8 friend off the line every time although once they wound up the cars a bit the v-8 triumphed at the "top end" the straight six was quick out of the start! so i beleive the 120 mph out of the straight 6!

ford 302 for the machup! as stated in above post this may be a "shortened by owner" wheelbase scrambler with intentions of rugged trailriding! may leave ford 302 as the powerplant?? in primer still need lots of touchup sanding and more primer i don't know how i will blend in the seam of the bed where i joind the cut bodies together?? going to make a post about these offroad wheels/tires!

Another Flawless Trade with EVILBENNY (Ben) trades a couple complete kits (and extra bonus stuff) for a bunch of old buildup stuff * look for us to have a friendly "buildoff" upcoming with some ford escorts**

yeah i've noticed that myself its almost as though i didn't quite stretch the "bed" out quite enough i just had the one spare body to work with so i'm going to run with it as is for now maybe i will rename it "mini" scrambler still going to be pretty cool nonetheless I'm not too much a "perfectionist" i just build stuff to suit me and anyone else that like what i've got going on
-
hey i'm back in business got photobucket working again thanks to a computer guru friend back homes suggestion of downloading firefox for a webbrowser! no problems with photos now enjoy the updates on the scrambler these are old update pics i've got some primer on her now will try and get shots of that

your right Harry! Much much thinner metal the glass and the glue holding the glass in the vehicle are what really support a lot of todays vehicles "structurally" so window glass in vehicles actually do hold purpose besides splattering bugs...... just hope I keep my job This is my first and hopefully only incedent cutting a pinchweld........ No bonuses for me for the rest of the year defenetely gonna have to cover the cost of the body shop repair bill welding a car back together!! Thank goodness it was a rental car vs. customers car still not a good situation nonetheless! yeesh
-
wow today a Tool I use daily at work failed me! for the first time in the 2 years doing auto glass I cut away half of a pinchweld on a 2013 Nissan Altima! what happened to cars that are not made from tuna cans??
