  1. very nice green my green projects never turn out that good
  2. the first gen kit comes with the aluminum double tube rear bumper? searching e bay for these trucks you see some with that bumper and some with a normal looking rear bumper not for sure which one is correct? did they ever have manual trannys on these trucks? or was it pretty much a aod only thing? awsome job so far i'm watching
  3. awsome! i have a junklot little red express truck i was wanting to throw a viper motor in! i also have a nastruck chassis now i know what to use it for!!
  4. all that really defines a 67' camaro vs a 68-69' is the "whisle" or blow draft doors on the cars 67 is the only year camaro that had that feature. my dad had a 67' drop top camaro vert i'm sure it would be easy to fabricate from styrene the little pillar post for the blowdraft windows that the 68-69 did not have.....
  5. does that issue include " cop motor, cop suspention, cop tires......" thats a blues brothers joke by the way if nobody caught it........
  6. mMMMmmm Salad..... very Green! sorry i'm hungry green made me think salad! lol
  7. sounds like one fun pontiac! i was always trying to figure out in smokey and the bandit if the movie car was a standard or aod car back then i think aod was the majority built?? on that particular run of the mill?? like fox body mustangs almost all of em it seems have a 5 speed manual vs the ford aod not too up on my older gm's from 70's
  8. Thank you! i sure do miss mt light regatta blue 85 gt the most it was my first car i bought on my own and did any and all work to it myself !! the only thing i outsourced was having the engine block machined out .30 over i did all the rebuilding myself very self gratifying
  9. that particular kit is a "curbside" correct? non opening hood? bottom of engine molded to bottom of chassis plate? just curious looks to be awsome i'm sure one could open up the hood and scratchbuild an engine bay
  10. yay i'm not alone! most kits i have yes were aquired from flea bay, although i got pretty lucky on most kits like i got a annivarsary kit sealed for 20 bucks plus 7 shipped! never paid over 25 for any kit on e bay my limit is 15-20 plus shipping depending on how rasonable shipping is.... but no i didn't get em all in a "junk" lot would have been awsome though!! like your stang collection especially fox bodys stang_crazy i prefer the 1/25 scale from mpc and amt and a couple older revell issues i do like the 1/24 offerings as well just not as much! need to find me a couple of those monogram "cobras" for those odd rims you just don't hardly see ever on the 1:1 cars very nice blue max Erik
  11. great "old" "heavily used" weather look! is that the "open road" camper with the bottom cut to fit an el camino? or is it an older kit that came with the camper?
  12. wish this weather would cooperate so i could get some painting done
  13. i'd gladly take the link need anything in return?? I too one day plan on doing something quite similar but it will be with direction sheets (typically amt) that have the vehicle specs and details and I of course save all model boxes I can so I have lots of folded down boxes I want to collage in to an album of "model car" art
  14. I'm confuse ded I know I post many things like my mustang builds on the bench forsay and it gets TONS of views, but only very few people make comment on the thread so it ends up at the bottom of the stack until I update the thread with a pic or whatever then people see it again and a few folks make comments again then back to the bottom of the many pages here its a cycle....... but I really don't get whats being said here about slot cars and whatnot?!?
  15. awesome car dinky that "seat is one hot looking hatch! 5 or 6 speed? or auto? natural aspiration? any turbo or anything of those likes? that looks very similar to some of the gm models here in the us can't put my mind to it right the minute though maybe the chevy aveo hatchback perhaps but that might be smaller than the seat Very Cool Car!!
  16. that woodgrain decal sheets are sweet!! where des one get those from??
  17. nothing different about the chassis except abouve stated probly lighter duty springs shocks and struts otherwise identical! my guy in n.c. where my 85' is resting away for now, he likes to swap v8's into the 4 cylander cars because the 4 bagger motors do not have enuff torque to twist up and distort or bend up the unibodys like the v8 motors do! so when you do swap in a v-8 and the heavier springs/ shocks and thak the car for a drive its like riding on rails the car is so stiff
  18. i plan on doing some "transplants of the new revell chassis into some of the older foxbody stangs when i get the kits of course perfect for another of the "mad" resins 79' notchback
  19. thanks alot putting some serious thought and effort into making 85-86 gt style foxbody don't know why they never made a kit of it very popular car in 1:1 by all means
  20. great cars we owned a couple of them 88 sunbird gt convertable and a 91 se convertable as well
  21. what can be made from leftovers of cutting and splicing of various foxbody's kinda resembles the european "kamei" ford escort??
  22. my 85 gt what one does when you can't afford a aftermarket cowl hood and your running a carb spacer plate.... get a dented junkyard hood and cut a hole in the hood for "ram" air
  23. mercury capri crimson cat and black cat versions "white lightning" coming as well
