-I've never had much luck with the krylon paints (I use them right out of the cans tho). My new best friends in the paint department are the testors one coat laquers! Awsome paint if I go with clear I use model master. Clear from their (2) part setup

My most recent e-bay score showed up ( the photo was terrible) but I'm glad I bid I got a 3 jeep lot for opening bid of 9.99$ won it uncontested ( guy said display shelf had fallen during bad storm) made it sound like the models were smashed to smitha rines! Not the case - I got 3 complete and very nice jeeps 2 hard to get especially the jeepster, 2nd was a commando(same as mount n goat reissue) although I'm sure this is mpc original, and a revell cj-7. Best part was I got a targa(soft/convertable) top and a hardtop (interchangable between comando and jeepster). Great day today. All I need to do is figure out how to fill in fake rust holes and rebuild some suspention and. Drivetrain

Unfortunately the walmarts here are not on board:( my lhs if you have more than 20 bones to spend on one kit its the place for you they never mark anything down its no wonder all the model boxes are so dusty! Lol. My hoBby lobbys treat me pretty good tho when they mark down the. Model car/truck kits!!

My "Honcho" is box stock except for the borrowed rims from a revell cj-7 kit and the modified firewall I grafted into the jeep from a amt duster kit to incorporate more detail of heater hoses and A wiper moTor. Only other mod was cutting off the automatic trany to make way for the jeep 5 speed manual the addition of cLutch pedal, and drilling a hole in the floor for the shifter to mate up with tranny. Thanks for looking, all input welcome. (The foglights and cb antena are not mounted b/c jeep will not fit back in box if the are)

Recently I had gotten a junk lot of models from e-bay mostly because it for sure had the revell mustang II kit the "monroe handler" kit in it! I won it and that car was mostly complete. Score 1. Long story shOrtened a little bit, I Already had one of those kits but it was a 80's reissue under the hotrod series as the cobra racEr, I knew what it really was tho cause of the body kit and rear taillight valence -I have a pic of the real monroe handler in one of my many mustang books. Last week -I won another "junk" lot of 2 of those cobra monroes complete with decal sheets and parts still sealed up in plastic (chrome trees) 2 boxes, long story short even tho someone had robbed one body and puttied the ###### out of the 2nd, now that I've got the putty off I'm going to have the means to make 3 mustang 2's 1 possible king cobra style, 2 monroe handler stlye 1 in yellow, 1 in white (one will have A opening liftgate). So psyched about this

Very cool need to post pics of my honcho. Build factory stock mostly, altho I did graft in a amt duster firewall that had more detail then revells flat no detail firewall my jeep has a nice master cylander A wiper motor and a place for heater hoses (that are hooked up). will have to snap pics and figure out how to upload!

I did one of these ( what I call "half snap" kits) but I cut the trans out of the chassis, and I ditched the 305 motor and put a more detailed ol' school 409 in but I'm thinkin of doin a repop and dropping in a 350 insted seems more proper and realistic lol but hey that 409 " she's real fine"

I got in the mail today A n.I.b. Revell. Mercury capri turbo rs!! And the other day got a real lucky deal yesterday @ the most random place a 1/16 larger scale. Mpc original issue in the original box sealed! 1984 corvette! (Its for trade by the way) for the sum of 6.99 the original price tag sAid 12.84$ bet that was expensive back in 84'??
