  1. Wow, that interior is badass! Im really liking the look of this car and how its coming together.
  2. I love these little cars. I dont know what it is about them, but hey are just so cool looking. You have a pretty awesome concept working here, keep it up!
  3. Looking really good, bro. Keep at it!
  4. Anxiously waiting some more eye candy, sir! Im working on a 70 Challenger myself, pro touring. Wont be as crazy as this work of art, but this will stand as some serious inspiration.
  5. Thanks for the posts, guys! A bit of a setback. I use Milliput as my putty and the hood would just not dry. It stayed soft for days. So, I had to strip it, destroying the scoop in the process. I just hope the hood isnt messed up to the point of not being able to be fixed. So, I went out and got me some Tamiya Putty. Milliput is great, I just have been having issues the last few times I used it with it not drying properly. I dont know if its going bad or if Im just not mixing it right but I really want this thing in paint, so Imma go with the Tamiya. The spoiler held up fine. It had a few soft spots, but just small ones that can be filled later. I did take your guys' suggestions to heart. The hood scoop will follow the factory lines of the hood and will have a domed shape to fit the curvature of the hood. Thanks for the suggestions! I hope to have an update on this soon so stay tuned.
  6. I really like your Camaro builds, brother. Very nice work. I have two of these kits myself, I agree... they are great kits.
  7. I was actually thinking about that myself. I thought about adding a small strip of styrene to the center in a line down the middle and then adding some putty to build up a body line or a dome to the scoop. On one hand I like the squareness of it, adds an aggressive look to it, but I think it matching the body lines would look cleaner.
  8. Yea, ive been using hot glue lately myself. Its become my prefer method, especially for wheels and chassis stuff.
  9. Wow that delivery is HOT!!! I want one of these!!
  10. What do you think of those tires? Ive purchased some HD wheels and I love their wheels, but the one set of tires I ordered were horrible. Hard, bad mold, hardly no flex and they barely fit.
  11. Where did the barrels and tires come from? I did something similiar for my Pro Touring build and I would love to get a spare set of barrels. Nice build, love the color.
  12. Yea, Im gonna add putty behind it and build it up, thats not the final design. Thats just the base structure. But, it gives you an idea of the look Im going for.
  13. @Customsrus, that thing is beautiful. How are you gonna do the hubless wheels? Thats gonna be interesting to see. @Bryan, again that rust is awesome. Thats one thing Ive yet to consider doing... I dont think I have the skill for it yet. Whats the plan for the build?
  14. Ive tried brushing over chrome and the paint never sticks and ends up with brush streaks in it. Whats your secret?
  15. Wow, that blue is just beautiful. I wish I had an airbrush so I could play with some wild colors, lol. In due time. The engine looks awesome too. What color did you use for the silver? Looks very realistic. I would leave it just blue. That color is just awesome, stripes would ruin it imo.
  16. DO WORK, SON!! Hahaha! Lets see some eye candy!
  17. ###### dude, youve got your work cut out for you. Ive ran into some pretty sever fitment issues with the Camaro, but nothing that bad. Good luck with it!
  18. Thanks for the replies, guys I really appreciate the feedback! Heres another small update. Starting the body mods. I added mirrors from the 2010 Camaro, scratch built a hood scoop and spoiler, shaved the door handles. Just gotta do the putty work to smooth it all out and she should be ready for primer and final sanding. Shes really starting to look like something and Im very pleased with it so far. This one has been my most ambitious project yet and I think Ive really stepped my game up on this one. So anyway, comments and criticism is always welcome. Thanks for looking! Oh, on the headlights, that area around the headlight surrounds... how can I fix that?
  19. I wouldnt normally be big on window louvers, but that is HOT! That thing just look sinister. Nice work!
  20. Wow, that color is awesome! I could stare at it for days.
  21. I will keep that in mind. Heres my update. The interior is done as far as the build stage goes. I just need to finalize it, lay down the colors, carpet, etc. But, the structure is built. Also built a cage, my first one. Im pretty happy with the result. I plan to add some bars through to the engine bay and some rear bars to the rear frame. Anyway, comments and criticism is always welcome.
  22. Thanks for all the kind words, boys. Much appreciated. Ive gotten quite abit done, but I want to get a few things finalized before I show you the updates, so instead I will leave you with this teaser of what Im thinking the final color will be.
  23. Sounds simple and I can just mod it off my basic design. My try that tonight.
  24. I was thinking that gluing the springs would be the best way, just not sure how well it will hold. I cant use a retainer as the rod and tube are pretty much a dead fit. Just loose enough to move freely but thats it.
  25. Beautiful work on all of these so far. Really captures the laid out bagged look very well!
