I have test fit the suspension and the wheels , but I am somewhat in limbo now with this build because new parts for it are on the way, i wont post more until i get the parts for the modifications. thanks so much jacen and kevin

Here are the changes I made to the stock kit cut down ,reverse and fabricate a rear spoiler, make sheetmeteal extentions for rear bumper , and door handel blanks fill all seams , doorhandels, parklights, ect, and repair 6pack hole in hood using plastic body filler integrate tbird - roll cage and dash to stock chassis painted seat with checkerboard patter and added seat belts added real hood pins fabricate transmission tunnel on stock chassis hole punch in meteal foil a fuel inlet used hole punchers for this paint and decals fabricate a front air spoiler that goes under the lower grille make window brases from chrome pinstripe so whats next chassis componets and figuring where I can find a hemi to fit, kit came with 440 if i build this engine i will have to glue the hood closed, ( any one want to trade engines ?) fix reaar bumper for correct look

This car was built after Adams death in May 2000, I did not have access to decals at the time so the kit started as a kellogg's car and was handpainted, numbers stripes and spree logos, this kit was built in the summer of 2000

on my bench right now is a 1972 STP plymouth Iam using a stock gtx and fabricating a roll cage from an old mark martin folgers car. In reasearching the paint scheme - I noticed in my book cars of the king, several different red and blue combinations, some cars curve the red around the grille and on the front fender like this while others bring the red over the grile and paint the whole front fender red like this I like to build my petty models in a unique way so which scheme was used the least, also i have seen both the blackout panel and blue panel on the hoods of both cars with the ghost stp decals , what do you like better? I am leaning toward the red across the grille with the all blue hood? sugestions? imput any one?

petty only ran the magnum half the season in 78 before converting to a chevy montecarlo. any idea where i may fine this kit i would love to add it to my petty collection, btw gr8 build
