    i would go w/ the charger 500 or general lee car - i do not recal any coronets in the nascar series , but i think they would have looked kool

    since it is just an opinion , I prefer to clear mine to give that high gloss look like a show car, when I show off my models to others , i like them to pop or stand out, this doent mean it is right or wrong it is just a personal prefernce, sorry if i ruffled feathers.

    since I am new to the forum , i thought i would post some pix of some of the kits i have bulit my favorite is the before and after 71 gtx, it rotates on a turn table one side is b4 restoration and the other is after restoration, the white general lee is the ghost of / you will see it glows orand in the dark, the 36 for is an old kit never built . enjoy.

    due to the difficulty of masking the stripes , i brush painted this one and used clear coat and polish to hide the brush srokes, the finished product looks great but the first shots of the paint leave little to be desired This is the finished product

    this is a scratch build kit using 3 other kits that fell into dispare

    thankyou for the kind words . I used orange spray paint to over spray that clay dirt look and made my own mesh screen for the front. I have sevral petty kits but wanted to build something different.

    the superspeedway cars are now clear coated over to make the car more slippery, i prefer to clear my decals to keep them from drying out and cracking

    this is a dirt track car I made from a 64 petty kit, i am new to the site . I love to build petty cars and mopar kits , I will post more pix of other kits I have built.
