I recieved a ward burton snub nose cat dodge for my birthday, since i did not have a petty snub nose charger in the collection , i disasembled it and painted it all yellow, i then covered the whole car with masking tape and drew out this tricky paint scheme, using an exacto knife i follwed my pencil marks and unmasked part of the car to paint the petty blue, i printed the decals and this is what came out. btw the giver knew i would repaint it.

This is not an exact replica , but just a rendition of the boycotted year this car started as a 69 cuda , the rear window was modified, as was the grille and headlights the front bumper filleris a 71 duster go wing, front wheels are from a 68 hemi dart kit, rear wheels and blower are from a 41 willys kit, the headlights and grille were carved from a petty torino kit 43 decals are from a 90 stp pontiac, jr decals are from the same kit using the oil treatment decals, the "t" was turned upside down and cut to form a "J", contengetcy decals are from a polar lights charger kit. The stripes are a slix wally dallenback 94 stp sheet. Again it is not perfect, I just wanted to represent something that looked like 43 JR.

as you can see the collection of petty model kits is growing

i guarentee i did not pint those on my own.

all decals- since the cot uses a common template i thought no mods were nessary

thanks , the johan kit has vary little to do, the only thing i had to make were the axles- toothpicks came in handy i will admit , i wish it had wider wheels

I have had success, i have 2 cars looking great i'll post pics soon

well, I wanted to transform some jeff gordon die cast into petty car of tommarow, since the cot uses a common templete i see no problem with working with chebbys, sides that these cars were cheap. So i bought a decal maker paper and program it has been trail and error but here is how it is working so far

I purchase 3 diecast cars which I disassembeled and added details and put back together here is what i did paint window nets, dash, wheel trim , winshield trim, and under carrage added tape visor, and interior paint simulated wheel markings painted winshield trim enjoy
