  4. So i finished the trailer Friday just in time for Saturday's show. Heres a few pics, butim not gonna post under glass until I take some outside pics.

I actually took a decent pic of the back of my trailer this morning that sorta shows what im going for....only not the black grime, more of a sandy look if that makes sense JC- i use highly diluted oil paints. Its sort of the same idea as the acrylic paints, but it takes forever to dry so you have plenty of message time! JT- i knew i would get your approval on the color lol. Not sure about the weatheri g being geographical, ive seen this type of thing before...only not so heavy. I think ive used too much and ill try to tone it down some. Thanks for the encouragement fellas!
  8. Ok, need some input. Ive seen streaking like this on trailers before, but i think i went overboard, but this is the effect i want only not as heavy....
  9. i was going to weather the outside a little, but i wanted the clean work truck look since the clear came out so nice.

  15. Lookin good Jeff! As far as the plumbing on the Detroit, i suggest joining the detroit diesel enthusiasts group on Facebook....if you are on Facebook that is. Those guys are always posting great pics that will show details never seen from a pic of the engine while its in the truck.
  16. Thanks guys! Terry, that dump bed is ridiculous as far as mold seams and fit. I'll never understand why they didnt make it a one piece deal....
  17. Thanks guys! Brian, the glad hand are some i got from Jamie a while back. The electrical connector, i dont remember....maybe plaskit but i had to modify it due to air pockets on the flange
