  2. Thanks guys! Brian- couldn't resist puttin the pocket knife in, just not sure if thats the right place for it or not. I need a crate of apples sittin near it.
  3. Real nice Brian! I like the bumper sticker!
  4. Finishe this one a while back but never posted it. I was playing around with some "photography" (and i use that term very lightly) so i figured i might as well post the pics.
  5. I usually finish one model before starting another, but here lately its been easier to give up on one for a bit. I started this trailer in hopes of finishing it for a show in 2 weeks.....yeah right lol. Anyways, it will be going behind the paystar, and the first pic is just a built up i have for use as a mock up, I'm starting with a fresh kit.
  6. Lookin good Terry! Tjats one big mamma!
  7. Looks Killer! A man after my own heart with that Detroit!
  8. So this was my first try at using the hairspray chipping technique....and it was an utter failure. I used aussie hairspray which i thought was water soluble. I applied the salt method first, then sprayed with hairspray through my airbrush afterwards. I then decanted krylon acrylic paint and sprayed it with my airbrush. I have scrubbed and scrubbed with no result.....any suggestions?
  9. same color but with off white on the roof and the top of the hood, as well as on the cab moulding
  10. Ok, got some color on this beast and started the weathering process
  11. Brian, ur head wouldnt hang in shame at any show lol. This White would give any truck a run for its money. It really is a top quality build!
  12. Thanks guys, hope to lay some color down today!
  13. Turned out great Brian! Now bring it to Clemmons in August lol
  14. I put Auslowes 6v in my lnt 8000 mixer and i agree, that engine takes a lot of work to make it look right....and mine still doesn't look all that great lol!
  15. Thanks fellas! Y'all are too kind
  16. Thanks Brian! The larger wire is telephone wire, the smaller stuff is called wire wrap and you can get it off ebay or radio shack in assorted colors!
  17. Very nice work! Killer detail! Just for future reference, Archer fine transfers sells weld decals, theyre actually resin details under decal film. They come in various sizes and i absolutely love them. I also didnt realize meng offered bolts that are so small, or just the nuts....
  18. Very nice build. Im a sucker for kw's, especially with semi ole stripes. Id say with the w925 coming back out, chances of seeing the mixer will be great
