  9. Thanks for that Justin I cant afford any at the moment so not a prob and Im sure they will have them again Yeh Ive grounded out more than once having a race car trailer so low to does'nt help its not to bad indoors tho .I have 13mm ground clearance and it still gets stopped by a little pebble .Having the head lights in the bumper sounds cool, are you keeping the original motor or are you getting the carson motor ?
  10. Shane your grills look good and you got a great shine on those rears
  11. Sunning Im speechless
  12. Cool thanks Shane . Maybe some brass rod bent to shape? Looking at mine you may have to move your fuel tanks forward a little to get your new fenders to fit nice
  13. Because i wanted a KW I ended up getting the bumper grill and lights custom machined out of aluminium it saved me a whole lot of work. Do you have a pic of what your going for is it going to be a full on lowrider ?. I would still like to get a full set of low profile tyres where did you get yours?
  14. Yeh thats correct those holes that locate to the rivets on the leaf springs . If you drill the holes behind the original ones that will move the axel forward . I know what you meen about the grill I ended up scratch builing new bumper brackets so I could move the bumper back . If your hinging the hood now you may find that the rear of the front arches hits the air cans when you try to open it
  15. I like the way you have done the drains and concreat damage . I realy admire the people that manage to keep those vehicals going when it looks like they should of been crushed years ago
  16. They look realy cool I may just have to steal that idea if thats ok with you . Are they tamiya paint lids? .How are you mounting them?
  17. Justin i found that its easyer to move the front axel forward a few mm . All I did was to redrill a new hole in the axel next to the original ones and then refit the axel . This also stops the truck wandering off corse when driving as it puts a bit of camber on the wheels so it runs in a strait line so your not constantly ajusting the leaver on your handset. I hope this helps you out abit . Another tip to lowering the body is to just turn the body mounting brackets upside down and put them under the floor intsead fo on top this lowers the body by about 5mm. Your doing a great job so far and I see you have opened the hood now . Dave
  18. Im not sure how do a link but as far as I know its r/ctruckandconstrution.com/forums
  19. I think that your dio is fantastic . But altho I have never been to iraq I have seen lots of news footage and every time you see a pickup or car its nearly always beat up (ie broken lights dents bullet holes missing glass and panels) .i just feel that your pick up is in to good condition for it to be in a conflict zone! , Other than that its great so please dont take offense to my comments. Dave
  20. That looks real good . Are those spray tin lids?
  21. Justin Have you heard of R/C truck and constrution forum?. Its full of great r/c trucks and vendors for all the custom bits n bobs that you could ever want Dave
  22. Yeh my cab was lowerd and the tanks and batt boxes i also opened the hood and fitted the cat V8 from the 1/16 pete kit
  23. Yeh I reworked mine in to a w900 so that ment a new grill and bumper and lights Trailer is a flatbed scratch built into a race car trailer
  24. I hope you have deeeep pockets these get very addicive once you start to customize them . I have a kinghauler like you have shown there and Ive put over £1000 in to it and its still not finished! as you can see in my avatar pic you can go daft with extras . Dave
