  3. Ditto Sean Is right this is great work .Im sure I will be looking at this Mack again for reference
  4. You heard correctly there is a few that have the same chassis . Off the top of my head there is original freightliner the mack superliner the western star all had that chassis all that changed was the cab/ hood mounts . Im sure there must be some more that uses the same chassis .
  5. This is great love the work your doing .I would love to find even a convertable one of these.Cant wait to see more
  6. Very cool great paint work .Did you use the original kit glass it looks very thin?
  7. Just had another thought. When you come to put the metal axel rod through the axel you may find that its to long for a good fit I had to cut my rear axel rods down to fit the wheels in to the backing plates . Hope this also helps you . Dave
  8. Wayne that motor is looking good . The tyres dont get glued together .I think I know what you mean. On each wheel there is a chrome ring that glues on to the wheel this is what holds the tyre on the wheel . Then the rear wheels glue together at the center then the hub goes through both the wheels and is glued at the back of the inner wheel at the hub .Make sure that you get the chrome off where you need to glue or they wont stick. I hope this helps you a bit .
  9. Ditto .Did anybody make the sleeper pod for te C cab?
  10. Ive built the revell 58 and its a good kit but Ive always wanted the AMT one . You did a great job

  12. Dont worry its not you its the kit . It took me several goes to get the hood just to shut As others have said once your skills get better you will want to strip and rebuild . You will soon be cutting up brand new kits and making somthing different and you will enjoy it all the more
  13. Thats one of the great things about this hobby if you want to change it you can . Nice boss that was one of my first truck builds . Did you have any trouble with getting the hood and cab to line up. They can be a bit of fiddle to get right
  14. Wow that is fantastic I think I may give this a try .What engine would it have ? Would it be possible for you to do a pic of the chassis please?
  15. With those alli rims I would go daycab heavy duty
  16. That looks fantastic Bradley . Thanks for the decal info . Im hoping to get one of these Olds soon . Yours may just be the coolest 50 Olds ive seen good work
  17. Very nice .Im glad you got ride of the join on those tyres . Great save
  18. This is a good kit to get . The only thing that I was disappointed with is that the blue on the sides of the cab is not on the decal sheet so you have to paint your own . Trying to get it the correct shape from the box lid is nearly impossible . Im not sure if it was planed that way or if I had some duff decals. All i know is that it spoiled the build for me becuse the rig on the box looks great and at the time my painting skills where not that good.
  19. Very nice paint looks great well done . i will have to restore mine one day go to find new decals first tho.
