  1. I love the foxbody. With my favorite of notches being hard to find, I snatched this when I could. Its a 1/25th AMT kit. Paint is a can Bright Calypso Metallic. I built the stock motor, but didnt care for the look of it, so Im in the process of assembling a t-56/lt-1 combo out of a '96 z28. Interior will be gray with black. I want to do so much other detail to this stuff but Im slowly changing bits and pieces to make it 'my own' Hood is a stock hood with a scoop molded into it out of the junk box (first time trying anything like this)
  2. looks like a great find, im curious about the frame rails and floor
  3. I stand corrected. I just went and looked; you are right.
  4. might be worth a paypal dispute if its been that long and no contact was made. Best of luck to you both
  5. awesome build so far, I really like the interior and what you did with it. The red is a little bright for me, maybe dull it down some, just seems to pop a little TOO much. great job none the less
  6. this is all the info I was looking for! Thanks guys
  7. Thanks for both pieces of info. The roll cage helps as it gives a starting point. I dont mean to be sheepish, but I didnt want to spend a ton of money and play the guessing game if someone already has. I get what you mean with things always being scaled down, but I didnt know if there was a standard 'rule of thumb'
  8. I would like to be able to do complete bodies as well. I would prefer siphon fed as style, sorry for leaving that out. again, my reason for posting this was to find something that i can use for 'anything', a sort of "come one, come all effect. "
  9. Another topic.. Has anyone ever compiled a listing of what the typical styrene thickness for 1/24 and 1/25 scale general pieces would be. What I mean is what the dimensions would be for the square cut pieces and such to make something to scale. Same to be said for the rod and tube to make roll cages or tube chasis'. Lastly what the expected typical thickness would be for hoods, spoilers, door panels/doors, etc I hope this isnt too broad and thank you for putting up with me and my typical new questions
  10. lol, thanks for that clarification. Do I place an order through a pm or ..?
  11. so you are taking orders or not..? sorry, the wording is a little fuzzy
  12. I have always painted my kits by hand with the exception of the bodies and larger pieces. I enjoy the detail that I am capable of with a brush, but something about the fact I can toss all my 'black' part down and hit them with paint all at once really pleases me. I have been looking on harbor freight as well as ebay (I did a quick browse on here and didnt see much about this topic, but then again, I am terrible with the search function), and have been seeing this and that. I would like a no non-sense. cost effective, simply solution to this. Any help or point in the right direction would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance
  13. I know Dom from another forum and his stuff is always top notch
  14. thanks for the welcomes. Im trying to figure out how to work this board, slowly but surely, Im getting the hang of it. Time for some beers and Bears..and maybe a little plastic this evening
